Brynn Everist, MD

Allergist & Immunologist | Clinical & Laboratory Immunology

Hi, I’m Brynn Everist, founder of Prairie Allergy! I am so excited to be here, fulfilling my dream of opening an allergy practice that allows me to focus on the most important thing – your health. I don’t take it lightly that you have chosen me as your doctor, and it is a true privilege to be part of your care. My longer appointment times allow us to spend more time together, equipping you with the knowledge to take control of your allergies.

In addition to allergy medicine, part of your successful treatment is understanding the root cause of your allergic condition and all your treatment options. We will also spend time detailing your treatment plan, chosen specifically for your lifestyle and treatment goals.

Conditions We Treat

Prairie Allergy diagnoses and manages a broad range of allergic conditions and symptoms with allergy treatment options that fit your lifestyle and goals.

Environmental Allergies

Seasonal or year-round symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, nasal congestion, itching of the nose and eyes, or redness/swelling of the eyes. We offer testing on the skin or through bloodwork to determine your triggers then work with you to establish a treatment plan.

Food Allergies

Local or body-wide reactions that occur when specific foods trigger the immune system. We offer testing on the skin, through bloodwork, and oral challenges to determine allergic status. Management of food allergy may include avoidance or immunotherapy, depending on your particular treatment goals.

Eczema

A dry, itchy, and oftentimes red rash. This rash classically occurs at the elbows and behind the knees, but it can also occur anywhere on the body or face. Treatment of eczema typically includes the application of topical medications, avoidance measures, and immunotherapy as indicated.

Asthma

Breathing concerns such as cough, wheeze, shortness of breath or chest tightness. Asthma symptoms and triggers are highly variable, asthma therapy is personalized based on these factors. Treatment often includes use of rescue medications to daily medications and/or immunotherapy as indicated.

Hives

Bumpy, migratory, and extremely itchy rash. Hives can occur for days to weeks, and in some patients even months to years. A thorough history will help determine the cause of hives, if present, as well as establish treatment plans to minimize symptoms and get you back to feeling your best.
